Description

One of the cornerstone properties in Grayton Beach, this beautiful Gulf front home, tastefully renovated in early 2018, has never been on the rental market. Semper Fi is perfectly situated atop a sand dune where the view from the front porch and living/dining room is nothing short of spectacular.
Designed with the family in mind, the three ample bedrooms sleep 8 people comfortably in 2 King bedrooms (one with an ensuite bathroom) and a combined Queen bed and bunk bed room. There are 2 and 1/2 bathrooms, one with a tub, as well as a private outdoor shower with hot and cold water at the bottom of the porch stairs allowing easy clean up after a fun day at the beach before relaxing on the large deck facing the Gulf. All bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living area are located on the same floor which is accessed from the 2nd level porch just up a set of stairs. (Please note: The top floor of house is locked out and not open for rental use. That space is unoccupied, assuring privacy to those who rent Semper Fi.)
The extra-large, well-equipped kitchen (all new appliances) allows for easy and fun meal preparation, with two full-size refrigerators, a 5-burner gas stove, microwave, two full wall ovens, an oversized sink, and a prep sink. Outside the house, a large gas grill is perfect for grilling and cookouts. There is ample seating in the kitchen as well - for card playing, games, casual meals, or just hanging out watching the cooks - either at the long bar or at the large round table in the middle of the action. A more formal large dining table comfortably seats large groups for special meals such as birthday celebrations, anniversaries or just a great family supper. Washer and dryer for guest convenience.
The real focal point of the house is view from the 40-foot long Gulf-front covered porch, which has plenty of seating for all. The porch is the perfect setting for an early cup of coffee, lunch-time snacks and iced tea, or wine and appetizers during the warm summer evenings. Rain or shine, the views from the porch are simply breath-taking.
Each bedroom has it’s own TV, and the main living area has a large TV over the fireplace. Seating in the living area accommodates everyone beautifully with an extra-large sectional and two comfortable upholstered chairs. The artwork is appealing, but no one will need to look at art with God’s handiwork just outside the front windows. This home will be a favorite with families for years to come and sure to be a place to come back to for future vacations. Welcome to the Beach…Semper Fi!
Grayton Beach is about as laid-back and organic as a beach town can get, from the old-style wooden beach bungalows to the “hippie kitsch” feel of the iconic Red Bar to the narrow neighborhood streets lined with live oaks. It’s home to the diverse coastal ecosystems of Western Lake and Grayton Beach State Park, and a gateway to a large expanse of sugar-white beach that is a haven for fishermen, boaters, and beachcombers alike.

This was our second stay , all in all everything was fine...but we did notice in the kitchen under the baseboard next to refrigerator near sink as well as under the bar area cabinet, there was some type of splatter that needs to be cleaned, not sure what it was but definitely food or drink...there was also a lot of weeds growing up the side of house along the walk way and the step area.

Beautiful home right on the beach! Clean and spacious. Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The neighbors/locals were SO nice and the shops/restaurants were perfect walking distance. Made us want to move to Grayton! Hope to be back soon!

we had a wonderful stay at temper fi with our family last week. property is in great shape, location could NOT have been any better; house was very clean & management was on top of everything. we needed a bit of a later checkout due to a late flight & they were able to accommodate us. I would totally recommend this property to a friend as well as return myself!

Boy did Semper Fi meet our expectations and more!! Location location location!! This was our first time staying on the beach as a family, and it’s the only way to go.(especially with two small boys) I grew up vacationing in Grayton Beach. I love the non touristy charm that this area still possesses. The property was beautiful and clean. The porch was an amazing place to hangout while we weren’t on the beach. We loved our stay at the amazing property, and hope to come back every year!

It's difficult to find beach houses located right on the beach that are designed to accommodate one family. This 3BR is perfect. We have family that lives in Santa Rosa, and the large living and dining area comfortably accommodates a larger group if you have additional visitors. The photos accurately represent the home and the view. Note that it is located right next to the public beach access where locals are allowed to drive/park their cars on the beach in front of the house, which can get active from time to time. However, if you want a little more space on the beach, you can walk down to the right a bit and set up, as this strip of beach is buffered by a state park. The house is less than a 2-minute walk to restaurants and bars.
