House is directly across from beach walkway The large front deck is great for relaxing in the afternoons while listening to the sound of the waves hitting the shore, or just catching some rays without getting sandy. Easy walk to the famous Red Bar and Chringo's and also to the famous shops of Grayton. This home and Seabreeze(144224) are the 2 closest 2 bedroom homes to the beach in Grayton. This house is a great overflow from Eagle's Nest(144150)Grayton Point (144224) or Seaspray(143320). Free WIFI. Flat screen TV's through out. Saturday to Saturday rental. Parking for 2 cars. Has newly upgraded furnishings. House has Keurig 2.0. with every reservation through Grayton Coast Rentals you receive a free "Beach Gear" credit of $280 for the week.

If you are looking for a more authentic Grayton Beach experience, this rental is for you. I brought along my dog for the week, so the large front deck was perfect and allowed us to sit out nights in comfort. Easy access to the beach and Red Bar/Chirango's. The house has more of beach vibe, simple and clean. I locked myself out of the house the first night with my dog locked inside! and the owners were quick to come to my rescue. I would definitely stay here again.

WE loved this place and wanted it for same time next<br/>year, but since they don't have a cancellation policy,<br/>we will try something different. Who knows what is going to happen in a year! They have everything you<br/>could possible want...not the best pillows, so if<br/>you are picky, I would say bring your own! It is a <br/>really good location and if they would sell it, we<br/>could consider buying....but they aren't. It is great for 2 or a small family.

My Mom and Dad built this house and owned it for many years. We’ve had so many special times with loved ones who have all gone before us and are celebrating in Heaven! We had the opportunity this past week to stay here again after Mom sold it and the week has been spectacular! We made new memories and plan to make more in the future!

Loved the location, the quaintness of the house. As many have said, the enclosed deck is the best. Views of the lake and ocean beyond great. Here during Ida, so heavy rain and winds caused us to hunker down and really enjoy a book and the home. Grayton is a favorite of ours. Great communication with managers. Loved the credit for renting beach gear. Beach walkway is literally across the street. Would love to stay again

Our beach "cottage" was lovely; it was cuter than the photos online! The property was clean,and we appreciated the little touches like shampoo, dish liquid and toilet paper upon arrival! Loved the view of the dunes and water.

It was perfect for our family of four, and we were thrilled to find a place that fit us so well so close to the beach/Red Bar/etc-- (most of the available rentals in that immediate area are 5 plus bedrooms and way too big for our crew). The expansive deck is the best feature and the house itself is a great mix of old school beach charm and modern appliances and furnishings. Definitely plan to return!

My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seaview. The house was clean and comfortable. The AC worked great! The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. The location was ideal and right off the boardwalk from the beach. Though we didn't have a full view of the beach, there is a view. The deck was great to hang out and read. The accommodations were overall great! I would definitely stay here again.

Our favorite get away!! love coming here every summer to get away. Tucked back in grayton beach its peaceful and calming, but not too far from watercolor/seaside for some extra fun! short walk to the beach with the cutest outside shower for when you get back!

We wanted a 2 bedroom house close to the beach in Grayton Beach and Seaview was absolutely perfect! It was literally 20 yards from the boardwalk beach access, the porch gave us a beautiful view of the beach and salt pond, and the house was on a dead end street so traffic was not an issue. We couldn't have asked for a better fit for this trip. House was ultra clean, had plenty of clean towels, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped and stocked with paper towels, garbage bags, etc. that we often have to go buy at other rentals. Seaview even had coffee filters!!! Because of the attention to detail from the Grayton Coast Rentals our stay was wonderful! I highly recommend and plan to stay there again soon!

We really enjoyed staying at Seaview. It was a very nice dog-friendly home with very close access to the beach. In fact, it was literally a few steps away onto the boardwalk. The hardwood floors are beautiful and the home was exceptionally clean. Some of the furniture needs to be replaced, but overall everything was in good condition. By the way, the beaches are spectacular right there next to the park. Unfortunately, there is public beach access there so there may be a number of people to share the beach with. Overall, we had a great experience. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We had a great weekend ! Great location <br/>little confused why So walton lets cars on that stretch of beach Sunday was like an interstate Highway. The bed in the master bedroom is very shaky and squeaky needs to be tightened. Shrubs should be trimmed back and deck should be resurfaced. Also when we arrived the front door was open and lights all on. that was a little disconcerting. But all in all a great weekend

This is the second time we've rented this property. It has pretty views and a great location really close to the beach and lake. The enclosed deck was great for the dogs. A great neighborhood for walking the dogs, too. The sky was so dark at night we could see the milky way.

Our first time to Grayton and enjoyed the home and town. Sea view was so convenient to beach and lake. Our dog enjoyed too just wish we could have paid for dog permit for beach.... $300 fine is steep!

Great small house with everything you need. Clean and neat. Big front porch and awesome location are the best assets. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed and plan to return to this house again soon.

Very nice, very clean, very convenient quite area. Easy walk to the beach. Just minutes to several other beaches and local restaurants. We like the fact that everything is on one f floor. We would have enjoyed it more however if there had not been houses built right in front of it which obscures the view to dunes beach and water.

I don't have the time this week to write a thoughtful review, but I do want to convey a few improvement suggestions: The shower head in the hallway bathroom is way too strong - painful in fact, not to mention the amount of water it waste. It doesn't have a adjustment knob. We were asked to sweep the floor, but there wasn't a dust pan - used a piece of cardboard. Other than that, we loved this small modest beach cottage with a fantastic location to launch our paddle boards!

We escaped to Grayton Beach - Seaview - for a few days when we had to leave our home due to a remodeling project. It was awesome. Since it was the off season, we enjoyed empty beaches, empty restaurants and empty bike paths. The house is REALLY close to the beach (some beach and lake views), very well equipped (the kitchen had more pots and pans than my house, even a crock pot), and beautiful sunset views from the front deck (with lots of seating). Since the house is dog friendly, we even brought our dog. She loved walking the very friendly, eclectic neighborhood with us. Seaside and Watercolor are not our style. This is a real beach community, not suburbia at the beach. The staff at Grayton Coast Rentals was great (Thanks Cole, Kitty, Catherine and Jennifer!). I highly recommend this house and Grayton Coasts Rentals. We will be back!

My husband and I really loved this rental. Located close to beach and to the fun Red Bar and Zoo Gallery. It was perfect in fact for us as we were celebrating our 20th year wedding anniversary. I love the quietness of the community but can also drive in to Destin easily for another atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!!

This is a great beach house in Grayton beach right by boardwalk onto beach and great views of lake and gulf. Cole is great to deal with at Grayton Coast Rentals. Highly recommend Grayton Coast and SeaView.

We are very satisfied with our Thanksgiving long weekend visit. The property was comfortably furnished and very clean. We absolutely will return to this location. Cole was helpful with our call to assist with the key code. Visit the Bay, we enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner there. The hot water tank did not supply enough hot water, and the shower spray nozzle is extremely hard/harsh. I am sure this can be easily remedied. Love Old Grayton Beach!

This was a great little getaway for Fall break. There was plenty of room for our family of four. The house is nicely updated and very clean. Easy access to the beach and lake, nice views from the porch. We had a little trouble with the keypad but the property manager was prompt and very helpful. We will be back for sure!

Excellent Experience....even the weather was fabulous.<br/><br/>My hesitancy in renting this location again was how far we had to walk & carry our umbrella, chairs & beach bag to get on the beach and away from the trucks that are allowed to drive on and park on the beach.

We had a wonderful week. The house was just right for the five of us. The close proximity to the neighbors, however, left us with a few sleepless nights. Our closest neighbors used their deck to party late into the night. Other than that, the place was really great. The water was just right and the lake was an added bonus when the waves wore us out. We enjoyed going into Seaside each night to shop and eat. Really the best of both worlds. One more thing, we loved the local vibe of Grayton, also the RED BAR. We will definitely return next year!

Our stay at Sea View in Grayton Beach was just perfect! My husband and I have 2 small children(1 and 5), and the house was just fantastic...happy, colorful and so nice and clean. One of the best things we appreciated was the small wiring around the porch railing. There was no worry that our one year old would take a tumble off the sitting area. The bathrooms were spotless and the kitchen was set up nicely. Lots of light from windows to let that great Grayton sun brighten up our days!! The furnishings were very nice and comfortable. One convenient thing about Sea View is that it is only a few steps to the boardwalk for that unforgettable beautiful walk out to the beach...sugar white sand, blue ocean and sky, colorful umbrellas and much fun and laughter awaits. Same time next year....and, we hope, many more for our children and us to look forward to!

This is an older single family home that has beennicely updated and decorated. <br/>It's surrounded by larger, taller and more modern homes that are waterfront and also more expensive.<br/>I felt like the value of this home is better.<br/>Note, the wifi sucks. This is an issue that had plagued former tenants. I hope they reslove this issue. Its 2014, people need good wifi, even when they are on vacation. :)<br/>Also, bring your own dishsoap and salt and pepper.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Seaview during our Spring Break 2014 vacation. The property was in excellent condition and had all the amenities that we desired and needed.
