New siding. New exterior paint. New (2) tankless hot water heaters, Wall between living area and front porch removed so Living area has fabulous beach, lake, and Gulf view. Upstairs baths remodeled and one added.New interior board and batten on walls where new windows installed. What a wonderful place! We loved the Eagle’s Nest. It’s is a wonderful location and was a perfect house for our group. With older grandparents and lots of little ones, we wanted a house that met everyone’s needs. The gated pool and dock were a hit. We enjoyed having the downstairs space for the older kids to getaway and hangout. The access to the beach was literally across the street and we enjoyed being able to easily hop back and forth with ease. <br/><br/>We will definitely return to spend another cmvacation at the Eagles nest!

This was our second year to stay at this property and we love the location and the overall set up of the property. We have a several teenage boys and the basement is perfect for them. The home is dated but the updates that have been made are good, comfortable mattresses, updated kitchen with ice maker and large refrigerator. My complaints for the home were that it was not cleaned very well (dirty floor, rings in toilets, musty towels and the basement was musty). We bought deodorizers for the basement and turned the dehumidifiers on which improved the basement. When we washed the towels they were no longer musty. The other complaints weren't worth reporting while on our trip. I'm sure the rental company would have corrected if we reported but we didn't want to deal with it on our trip. We would stay here again but would like to see some updates to the home and better cleaning. Love the location and love Grayton!

When the house we had rented for years was taken out of the rental options, they found us another house and we like it even better. Nothing fancy to look at, and definitely a beach house, but perfect for our large crowd. The location is perfect for the beach, the lake and it has a great pool. It was good overall . The oven went out on the first day there . They did bring a small conversation type oven . The bed at the back of the house was awful. The water in the hall bath and in some of the rooms did not get warm/hot , so must of us took a very cold shower . Over all great location .

The family room area gets fairly warm in the afternoons with the FL sun coming in, but shades would eliminate that issue! Grayton Coast Rentals is immediately responsive to any issue and the easiest and best to deal with. The office manager, Jenny, is knowledgeable and friendly. We have rented from them for over 15 years and keep coming back to their company. Can't think of a better recommendation!

This house is in one of the best locations in Grayton Beach (and maybe all of 30a). You can walk right onto the beautiful beach but also have lake access with a private dock. The space is thoughtfully designed to accommodate large groups with multiple decks, a huge pool, a game room, and an open living/dining/kitchen floor plan. The beds were super comfortable and the house provides ample extra linens, which we needed after a weeklong stay. 10/10 would definitely come back and stay at this house!

We love this home! Beautiful views! Plenty of room, fabulous pool and quiet end of the street. Downstairs area is a real plus for the kids. We have stayed there many times. Property management is top notch!

This is our second stay at Eagles Nest, and we enjoyed our time immensely. It was nice to see some of the updates to the house, and we think the location is ideal. Since we like to paddle-board, kayak, swim in a pool, and have the ability for easy walking distance access to the beach, this house fits the bill completely. Also, an easy walk to Zoo Gallery and The Red Bar, two of our favorites. My only concern during the entire visit is what seems to be growing crowds at Grayton. A beautiful place, I just hope it doesn't get "loved to death". We literally saw people crawling on the dune walls every day, and we filled up bags of litter every morning when we prepared our place on the beach. We will be back!

We have stayed in various homes in Grayton for over 15 years and stayed in the same one for 10 years. After it was taken out of the rental pool, we had to find another that would accommodate our family (17 folks) with comfort and privacy. With Grayton Coast Rentals help we found it! Our favorite - Eagles Nest. Perfect for us! The windows in the main living room offer beautiful views of the gulf, but do allow the room to heat up in the afternoon, but it was a small price to pay for this great house in a great location!

Our large family group absolutely loves this house. It is the perfect location from the beach and has a lovely pool and dock area in the back. The kitchen is fabulous and well equipped for cooking adventures. The multiple bedrooms and bathrooms allows privacy for a large group. Very clean and updated!!! We will be back.

This place was amazing. My favorite part was the upstairs living space. Even with 16 adults and 3 kids we never felt crowded. The private pool was one of the best I’ve seen at Grayton. Super close walking and biking distance to everything.

Eagle’s nest was perfect for our family vacation! We love the Grayton Beach area and the location of the House was perfect. We had easy access to the beach and the lake. We could easily walk to the Red Bar and other restaurants. My favorite was the fantastic water view from the living and kitchen area! The house was clean and very nicely updated. The grandsons loved the dock on the lake for fishing, crabbing, paddle boarding, and kayaking. The staff at Grayton Coast Rental was most friendly and helpful.

The location and amenities of the home are really ideal. We had 13 visiting, ages 86 to 13. Access to the beach and to the dune lake was awesome, and having the pool and teen-centric lower level was great! The house was clean, but needs a little attention to make it ideal. The lower level really needs a renovation. The carpet and furniture needs to be replaced, and there was a leak above the kitchenette. The back sliding glass door would not lock, and was taped over. The upstairs is nice - plenty of room for everyone, but the A/C load is very uneven. The front bedrooms were warm the whole week, while the rear bedroom and bathroom were very cold. I think the combination of sunload in the afternoon through front windows and the heat from the kitchen -the ice maker emits a lot of heat, and the open floor plan means the kitchen heats up the entire living space. And after stripping the linens on the last day, a few of the mattresses are quite stained - yuck! The new renovations are very nice, now just take care of the remaining 30% upgrades and the place will be the best in Grayton Beach.

Adults and kids alike loved our stay at Eagle's Nest. Outside we had easy and close beach access, a great pool, a dock for fishing and launching our kayak, and shops, bars, and restaurants withing walking distance.<br/>Inside we had great bedrooms with baths; large open area with kitchen, dining, sitting room and living room with a view of the beach (yes, a great view of the beach; and a downstairs game room with a ping pong table (where we had tournaments) and a couches for games and conversation. <br/>Overall, we had an outstanding time and would recommend Eagle's Nest to everybody!

We had an issue with the downstairs sliding glass door which had been sticking and they were quick to respond. Would definitely stay again. Grayton is a great place. You can walk to restaurants and stores and the beach wasn't crowded, even on the busiest spring break week. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location! Pool+lake view from back deck and ocean view from the front screened porch. Quiet dead-end street east side of Grayton away from noise downtown but less than a 5 minute walk to it. Beds comfortable and space layout fantastic esp. on upper/main floor where kitchen is open to the living area for socialization. Our teens loved and lived in the downstairs in game room where they had privacy with their friends who visited and entertainment at night or on rainy days. Pool was spacious and clean and the lake dock a quiet getaway on the water. Walk to the beach only a couple minutes down the boardwalk from the house! Refrigerator is gigantic- perfect for a large group! Cookware supply is abundant - nothing additional was needed and we had a full house. House is old (cabinets can stick and some towel racks are missing etc) but worth the tradeoff for everything else. Interior had a clean updated and casual feel unlike some of the newer houses with hardwood flooring and more refined decor but we preferred our ambience after visiting many of the other newer houses friends were in - pool was larger and teen space priceless. Had tiled floors and a sofa set that was sink-in comfortable. Downstairs had non-destructible carpet - easy to vacuum or pick up crumbs when kids got sloppy with chips. House needed more garbage cans downstairs and if you plan to fill the 4-bunk room with with children I recommend you bring a floor fan -that room had no A/C vent and got too warm in there but we bought one at Walmart, set it up for circulation at night and that did the trick. You do have to be careful about outside pool noise at night (music level reasonable, etc) esp. since the neighbors on one side are local residents and they have to sleep too, but that just made it feel like home since you have to do that respectfully in any tight spaced community. We had a happy vacation at Eagles Nest!

Our party had a total of 13 people, and this house accommodated us very well with room to spare. This is a great rental for kids as the basement is set up for indoor entertainment/great if it rains. Just outside the basement is a large picnic/grilling area. Beyond that is a huge pool that connects to a walkway to the dock area. A wonderful asset was the extra large refrigerator upstairs. If that's not enough space, an additional regular sized refrigerator is downstairs. The location is phenomenal with waterway behind the home and the ocean out front. I found the bed (master) very comfortable. It is an older home, but its very nice inside. The layout of this house was perfect for us as there are several sitting areas for anyone wanting to read a book, etc. It also had a very large open living/kitchen area if we all wanted to be together. The home had plenty of parking space. We had one small maintenance issue (garbage disposal broke) which was fixed immediately so there was really no inconvenience at all. Overall, we had a great time!

Eagles nest is a great house in Grayton for a nice vacation. You got the beach on one side (about twenty steps from the front door) and a private dock on West Lake out the back door. Not to mention the private heated pool, walking distance to several restaurants, big open kitchen and floor plan, and everything was clean. The owner/manager is this place is first class.<br/><br/>Grayton is easily the coolest town on the gulf. My son and I caught crabs off the dock, a redfish in the surf, and kayaked on the lake. And the lake being next to the gulf there is phenomenal. This house is on both. Perfect spot.

We absolutely loved staying in Grayton Beach at Eagle's Nest! It is very close to the beach, spacious, clean, & recently updated. It has a big private pool, a dock for fishing or taking out your kayak or paddle board.

We had a wonderful stay at Eagle's Nest. We were celebrating my Grandma's 90th birthday & at one time, had 35 people in the house comfortably. The house was big enough so that no one felt like they were crowded. The views from the house were beautiful! The beach was also stunning!!

There was a broken commode tissue holder in back right bathroom. The bolted down chairs on the back porch were so close together they created a hazard going between them. Need to be unbolted or in a different location with more room between. Need to provide for recycle of waste. Need larger table in kitchen for place the sleeps 21.
